 1. Summary of Key Points

This section highlights the most important things you should know. You can find more detail in the sections that follow.

• Information we collect. We collect information you provide directly (for example, when you submit a bike for appraisal, place an order, or contact support), information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and limited information from service providers and advertising/analytics partners.

• How we use it. We use your information to evaluate and buy bikes, sell and deliver bikes to you, provide customer service, send service and marketing communications, show relevant ads, improve our Services, and comply with legal obligations.

• Cookies and tracking. We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser and, where available, through our cookie banner and Cookie Notice.

• Sharing. We share personal information with service providers (for example, payment processors, shipping carriers, analytics and advertising partners, email service providers) and as needed for legal reasons or a business transfer. We may share certain identifiers and usage information with advertising partners for cross‑context behavioral advertising as defined under California law.

• Your choices. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, manage cookies and targeted advertising preferences, and exercise rights of access, deletion, correction, and other rights described below.

2.2. Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit or use the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with the Services. This information does not directly identify you by name but may be associated with your device or browser.

We collect much of this information through cookies, pixels, web beacons, and other similar technologies. For more details about these technologies and your choices, see Section 5 (Cookies and Tracking Technologies) and our Cookie Notice.

2.3. Information We Receive from Third Parties

We may receive limited personal information about you from third parties, for example:

• Payment processors (e.g., Shop Pay, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle), who provide us with status of payments, refunds, and chargebacks;

• Shipping carriers and logistics providers, who share delivery updates and tracking information;

• Analytics and advertising partners (such as Google Analytics, advertising networks, and social media platforms), who may provide aggregated or inferred information about how visitors use our Site and how our ads perform;

• Marketing and email service providers, who help us understand how recipients interact with our messages.

We do not buy or rent mailing lists from data brokers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

1. To provide and operate the Services

   • evaluate your bike and provide appraisal offers;

   • buy bikes from you or accept trade‑ins;

   • process and fulfill orders for bikes and related products;

   • communicate about your appraisal, sale, or trade‑in;

   • provide important updates about changes to our terms, policies, or Services.

3. For marketing and personalization

   • send marketing emails and newsletters if you have asked to receive them or where permitted by law;

   • show you recommendations, “recently viewed” items, and personalized content on the Site;

   • offer promotions, events, and loyalty or referral programs;

   • create audiences and segments to show you relevant ads on other websites and apps.

4. For analytics and improvement

   • understand how visitors use our Site;

   • analyze conversion rates, abandoned carts, and campaign performance;

   • develop new features and improve our Services, user experience, and business operations.

   • maintain appropriate business and tax records.

We may also use information for other purposes that we describe at the time of collection or with your consent.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve our Services. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device.

We use the following general categories of cookies:

• Strictly necessary cookies – required for the Site to function (for example, to keep items in your cart, log you into your account, keep the checkout secure).

• Performance and analytics cookies – help us understand how visitors use the Site (for example, which pages are most popular, where users drop off) so we can improve functionality and user experience. We use tools such as Google Analytics for this purpose.

• Functional cookies – remember your choices (such as language, location, or display preferences) to provide a more personal experience.

• Advertising and targeting cookies – used by us and our advertising partners to show ads that are more relevant to you, to limit how often you see an ad, and to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. This may involve cross‑context behavioral advertising, where information about your activity on our Site is combined with information from other sites or apps.

Your browser may allow you to set it to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being used. If you disable cookies, some features of the Site may not work properly.

Where required by law, we will present a cookie banner when you first visit the Site, allowing you to accept or reject non‑essential cookies and manage your preferences.

We also maintain a separate **Cookie Notice**, which provides more detailed information about the cookies and similar technologies we use, the purposes they serve, and how you can control them.

Some browsers and browser extensions support **Global Privacy Control (GPC)** or similar signals. When we are able to recognize such a signal and are required by applicable law, we will treat it as a request to opt out of “selling” or “sharing” personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising.

5. How We Share Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may, however, “share” certain personal information with third parties for cross‑context behavioral advertising as defined under California law (see Section 11).

We share personal information in the following situations:

5.1. Service Providers

We share information with trusted service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:

• e‑commerce platform providers (for example, Shopify);

• payment processors;

• shipping and logistics providers;

• email delivery and marketing automation platforms;

• customer support and CRM tools;

• analytics and advertising partners (including Google Analytics and advertising networks);

• IT, hosting, and security providers;

• professional advisors (for example, legal, accounting, or tax advisors).

These companies are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are subject to contractual obligations to protect your data.

5.2. Advertising and Analytics Partners

We may share identifiers (such as cookie IDs, IP address, and hashed email), device and usage data, and limited commerce information with advertising and analytics partners to:

• measure and understand our audiences and campaign performance;

• show ads for our products to people who may be interested in them;

• avoid showing you irrelevant or repetitive ads.

Where this constitutes “sharing” personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising under California law, you have the right to opt out (see Section 11).

5.3. Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy and any additional notices we may provide.

5.4. Legal Requirements and Protection of Rights

We may share information if we believe in good faith that it is reasonably necessary to:

• comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;

• enforce our agreements and policies;

• protect the rights, property, or safety of Lebel, our customers, or others;

• detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.

5.5. With Your Consent

We may share information with third parties when you direct us to do so or with your explicit consent.

6. Marketing Communications

We love to share news about fresh inventory, special offers, and trade‑in opportunities – but we try hard not to be annoying.

• We send **marketing emails** only if you have opted in (for example, by ticking a box during checkout or signing up through a form) or where otherwise allowed by law.

• Every marketing email includes a clear **“Unsubscribe”** link. You can click it at any time to stop receiving marketing emails from us.

• Even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send you **service messages** related to your orders, appraisals, account, or legal notices.

Our email practices are designed to comply with the U.S. CAN‑SPAM Act, which among other things requires accurate sender information, clear identification of commercial messages, an easy opt‑out, and inclusion of our physical mailing address.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• provide the Services you requested;

• support the purposes described in this Policy;

• meet legal, tax, accounting, and reporting requirements;

• resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

The exact retention period varies by data type and context. For example:

• order and transaction records are typically kept for several years to comply with tax and financial laws;

• bike appraisal and trade‑in records may be kept for fraud prevention and compliance;

• marketing data is retained while you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period after that, unless you request deletion earlier.

When we no longer need personal information, we will delete it or anonymize it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe the security of your account or interaction with us has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can delete it.

We do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

10. Your Rights and Choices (All Users)

Regardless of where you live, you normally have the following choices:

• Access and update. You may review and update certain account information by logging into your account. You can also contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you.

• Delete. You can ask us to delete personal information, subject to some exceptions (for example, when we must keep information to comply with law).

• Correct. You can request that we correct inaccurate personal information about you.

• Marketing preferences. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the “Unsubscribe” link or by contacting us.

• Cookies and targeted advertising. You can manage cookies at the browser level and, where available, via our cookie banner and Cookie Notice. You may also use tools provided by advertising platforms to limit personalized ads.

To exercise any of these rights, you can:

• submit a data subject access request using the form linked on our Site; or

• email us at Info@lebelbicycles.com.

We will respond to requests in accordance with applicable laws.

11. Additional Rights for California Residents

If you are a resident of California, you have additional privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

11.1. Categories of Personal Information We Collect

In the twelve (12) months preceding the date of this Policy, we have collected the following categories of personal information about consumers:

• Identifiers – such as name, postal address, email address, phone number, IP address, and account login identifiers.

• Customer records – such as billing and shipping information, and limited payment information (through our payment processors).

• Commercial information – such as purchase history, order details, trade‑in and appraisal records.

• Internet or other electronic network activity information – such as browsing history, search history, interactions with our Site and ads, and usage data.

• Geolocation data – such as approximate location derived from your IP address and, if enabled, more precise location information.

• Inferences – such as inferences drawn from the above categories to create a profile reflecting your preferences (for example, preferred bike categories or price range).

We do **not** intentionally collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law.

11.2. Sources and Purposes

We collect the categories of information listed above from the sources and for the purposes described in Sections 2 and 3 of this Policy.

11.3. Disclosures for a Business Purpose

We disclose the categories of personal information above to service providers and contractors for business purposes such as payment processing, order fulfillment, shipping, analytics, advertising, fraud prevention, and IT services. These recipients are bound by contracts that restrict their use of your information to specified purposes.

11.4. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money.

However, we may **“share”** personal information with third parties for **cross‑context behavioral advertising**, as that term is defined under California law. This may include sharing identifiers (such as cookie IDs and hashed emails), device data, and internet or network activity information with advertising partners to show you relevant ads across different websites and apps.

In the twelve (12) months preceding the date of this Policy, we have *shared* the following categories of personal information for such purposes:

• Identifiers;

• Internet or other electronic network activity information;

• Inferences drawn from these categories.

You have the right to **opt out of any sale or sharing** of your personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising.

You can exercise this right by:

• clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of our Site (when available);

• configuring your browser or extension to send a recognized opt‑out signal (such as Global Privacy Control), which we will honor as required by law; or

• contacting us at Info@lebelbicycles.com.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

11.5. Your CCPA/CPRA Rights

Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to:

• Right to know/access – request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and details about how we use and share it.

• Right to delete – request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (for example, when we must keep data for legal or security reasons).

• Right to correct – request that we correct inaccurate personal information about you.

• Right to opt out of sale or sharing – opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising, as described above.

• Right to non‑discrimination – we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. For example, we will not deny services or charge different prices solely because you exercised your rights.

To exercise these rights, you may:

• submit a request using the data subject access request form linked on our Site; or

• email us at Info@lebelbicycles.com.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification procedures.

12. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Because there is currently no widely accepted standard for responding to DNT signals, we do not respond to DNT on its own. However, we do respond to certain legally required browser‑based opt‑out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as described in Section 11.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors.

When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the Policy and may provide additional notice (for example, by posting a notice on the Site or sending you an email).

Your continued use of the Services after any changes become effective means you accept the revised Policy.
