We accept the return, but outbound shipping is nonrefundable and return shipping is not free (details below). -
Accuracy & Function Guarantee (Issue on arrival / not as described / shipping damage / malfunction)
We make it right with a free return label and a full refund (including standard outbound shipping) or a replacement when available. - Reasonable testride wear is OK, as long as there is no new damage.
- We do not charge a restocking fee.
- If you use our return label, return shipments are insured and we handle carrier claims for loss/damage.
- When your return arrives: we typically need 1–2 business days to inspect it. If it passes inspection, we initiate your refund the same day, and it usually posts to your account in 3–5 business days (depending on your bank/card issuer).
1) Our PeaceofMind Purchase Promise
We want you to feel confident buying a preowned bike online. Every bike and component purchased from LebelBicycles.com is eligible for a return request within 30 days of delivery, subject to the terms below.
To keep things simple and fair, we separate returns into two categories:
- Fit & Preference Return (not defective; you just don’t want it / it doesn’t feel right), and
- Accuracy & Function Guarantee (the item arrived with a qualifying issue or is materially not as described).
This policy is offered in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under applicable U.S. and state law.
2) Timing & Scope
Return window
- The 30day return period starts on the date you actually receive your order, according to the carrier’s tracking.
- Returns must be requested within 30 days. Please contact us first to receive a Return Authorization (RA) and instructions.
What this policy applies to
This policy applies to:
- preowned bicycles;
- frames, wheelsets, and other major components;
- accessories unless the product page clearly states “Final Sale / No Returns.”
3) Two Return Paths
A) Fit & Preference Return (Wrong fit / changed mind / preference)
If the item is as described and functional, but you’re returning it because:
- the fit/feel isn’t right,
- you changed your mind,
- you found another option,
- or another preferencebased reason,
…we will accept the return within 30 days, but shipping is handled as follows:
What we refund
- We refund the item price (the purchase price of the bike/item), to your original form of payment or store credit — your choice.
What is not refunded / what may be deducted
- Outbound shipping is nonrefundable. Shipping is a service that has already been provided once the order ships/delivers.
- Return shipping is not free for Fit & Preference returns.
- If you use our prepaid, insured return label, a $99 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
- If outbound shipping was discounted or free as part of a promotion, we may deduct our standard outbound shipping charge ($99) from the refund for Fit & Preference returns.
No restocking fee
- We do not charge a restocking fee. For Fit & Preference returns, we only retain/deduct shipping as described above.
B) Accuracy & Function Guarantee (Arrived damaged / materially not as described / malfunction)
If your order arrives with a qualifying issue — for example:
- it is materially not as described,
- it arrives with shipping damage,
- it has a malfunction or hidden issue present at the time you received it,
- or a major stated component/feature is missing,
…contact us within 30 days and we will make it right.
What we do
- We provide a prepaid, insured return label (U.S. returns).
- We will offer either:
- a full refund, including standard outbound shipping, or
- a replacement or comparable alternative if available.
Shipping claims
- If an item is lost or damaged in transit, we handle the carrier/insurance process directly. If needed, we will either ship a replacement (if available) or refund you in full.
4) How to Start a Return

- your order number;
- the name and email used at checkout;
- the reason for the return (this helps us improve and helps us route your return into the correct category).
- We will:
- confirm your return (Return Authorization / RA);
- email you a return label (and clearly indicate whether it is free or subject to the $99 deduction under Fit & Preference returns);
- send stepbystep packing instructions for safe shipment.
5) Condition of Items for Return
We understand you need to testride a bike in real conditions.
To be eligible for a return:
- the bike must be in good working order with no new damage
(no crashes, major dents, frame cracks, etc.); - there must be no obvious signs of extreme use (e.g., race/event use);
- all included accessories and small parts must be returned
(chargers, adapters, tools, manuals, small hardware, etc.).
Reasonable testride wear is acceptable.
We reserve the right to deny a return or adjust the refund only in cases of clear misuse/abuse, significant new damage, or missing components.
Clothing, shoes, and helmets may be returned only if they are:
- clean,
- free from heavy signs of use,
- and with original manufacturer tags still attached,
unless the product page states otherwise.
6) Packaging & Bike Assembly / Disassembly
Bikes must be packaged correctly to protect the bike and ensure shipping insurance remains valid.
Please:
- keep the original box and packaging materials whenever possible (at least during the 30day window);
- use the same box and protective materials for the return whenever possible;
- follow our packing instructions (e.g., turning the handlebar, securing moving parts with zip ties, protecting frame contact points, etc.).
If you no longer have the original packaging, contact us and we will work out a solution, such as:
- sending a packing kit, and/or
- arranging packing assistance through a partner service.
If we ship packaging materials to you, the cost may be billed separately or deducted from your refund (we will confirm this with you in writing before shipping any kit).
7) Inspection & Refund Timing (What Happens When Your Return Arrives)
Once your returned bike/item arrives at our warehouse, we follow a fast intake process:
- Inspection timeline: We typically check in and inspect the return within 1–2 business days of delivery to our warehouse (business days exclude weekends and U.S. federal holidays).
- If everything checks out: If the bike is in acceptable return condition (including no new damage beyond reasonable testride wear) and all included parts are returned, we will initiate your refund the same day the inspection is completed.
- When you’ll see the money: After we initiate the refund, it typically posts to your account within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer (some payment providers may take longer).
- If we find an issue: If our inspection shows new damage, missing parts/accessories, or other condition issues that affect eligibility or the refund amount, we will contact you before finalizing the refund and will provide details (and photos when helpful).
Refunds are issued to your original form of payment unless you selected store credit.

8) Orders Not Yet Shipped
If you change your mind and your order has not been handed over to the carrier yet, we will:
- cancel the order, and
- refund 100% of the amount paid.
9) Additional Services & Fees
If you paid for additional services (for example, expedited shipping or special delivery options), those fees may be nonrefundable unless required by law. Any nonrefundable services are disclosed at checkout.
10) Your Legal Rights
Nothing in this Return & Exchange Policy limits or cancels your rights under applicable U.S. federal or state consumer protection laws. If you believe a defect existed at the time of sale but becomes apparent after the 30day period, please contact us and we will review your situation in light of applicable law and any warranty obligations.
