2023 Cannondale Scalpel Hi-Mod Ultimate, size M — a top-tier carbon full-suspension XC MTB equipped with carbon wheels and the best components Cannondale offers. The frame and fork are full carbon, paired with a RockShox SID Ultimate 120mm fork and RockShox SID Luxe Ultimate 120mm rear shock. It runs a SRAM XX1 AXS 12-speed wireless drivetrain with a 32T power-meter chainring, 175mm SRAM XX1 carbon cranks, and a SRAM Eagle XX1 Bronze 10–52 cassette. Brakes are SRAM Ultimate hydraulics.

The wheelset is ENVE M5 carbon with an Industry Nine front hub and DT Swiss C-36 rear hub, set up tubeless on Schwalbe Racing Ray 2.35 (front) and Racing Ralph 2.25 (rear). Additional high-end touches include an ENVE carbon handlebar, ENVE carbon seatpost, Cannondale 70mm ±9° stem, and Prologo CPC saddle.
