The  Lauf True Grit is a fast, capable gravel bike built for riders who want real off-road performance without sacrificing speed. Known for its innovative design and minimalist engineering, the True Grit stands out with Lauf’s signature Grit suspension fork, delivering 30mm of maintenance-free front compliance that smooths washboard roads, rough gravel, and chunky terrain without the weight or complexity of a traditional suspension system.

This bike features a high-end SRAM AXS 1x12 drivetrain, combining SRAM Force AXS with a rugged X01 AXS rear derailleur and a massive 10–52 cassette, giving you exceptional range for steep climbs and fast flats alike. A 42T chainring paired with a SRAM Force power meter crank (175mm) makes this setup ideal for both performance-focused riders and long endurance adventures.

Rolling on DT Swiss GRC 1400 Spline carbon wheels, the bike is light, stiff, and highly durable—perfect for aggressive gravel riding. The wheels are set up tubeless and paired with Pathfinder 45C tires, offering an excellent balance of speed, grip, and comfort. Braking is handled by SRAM Force hydraulic disc brakes, providing confident stopping power in all conditions.

The cockpit is equally dialed, featuring ENVE gravel carbon handlebars (440mm), an ENVE 90mm stem, and a carbon seatpost, keeping weight low while enhancing ride quality. At approximately 19 lb, this True Grit is impressively light for a gravel bike with suspension and carbon wheels. Size 56 fits riders roughly 5’10” to 6’3”.

With around 1,000 miles, this bike is pre-owned and in good shape, showing normal signs of gravel use but mechanically solid and 100% ready to ride. The upgrades on this build make it a standout compared to stock configurations.
