The 2022 Pivot Switchblade Race XT is one of the most versatile trail bikes ever made—built to climb efficiently, descend aggressively, and handle everything in between. This bike features a full carbon frame paired with Pivot’s proven suspension platform, delivering a perfect balance of stiffness, traction, and control for real trail riding.

Up front, the Fox 36 Performance fork with 160mm travel provides confidence on steep descents and technical terrain, while the FOX Float X Factory rear shock (142mm travel) keeps the rear end glued to the ground with excellent small-bump sensitivity and support under hard riding. The Shimano XT 1x12 drivetrain with a wide-range 10–51 cassette is known for bulletproof reliability and crisp shifting, and the Shimano SLX 4-piston hydraulic brakes deliver strong, consistent stopping power on long descents.

The bike rolls on durable DT Swiss XM1900 wheels, set up tubeless with Maxxis Rekon Race 29x2.4 tires, making it fast-rolling yet capable on mixed terrain. A Fox Transfer dropper, Pivot cockpit, and short Phoenix 40mm stem round out a modern, trail-ready build. Size Medium is ideal for riders approximately 5’6” to 5’10”.

With around 1,000 miles, this bike is in good condition, mechanically solid, and fully tuned. Like any mountain bike that’s been properly ridden, it shows minor cosmetic marks from normal trail use, all visible in the photos.
