The Santa Cruz Hightower LT C is a long-travel trail machine built for riders who want big-mountain confidence with all-day pedal efficiency. With its full carbon frame and carbon wheelset, this bike strikes an excellent balance between stiffness, durability, and ride quality—classic Santa Cruz DNA.

Up front, the FOX 36 Performance fork with 150mm of travel delivers confidence and control on steep descents and technical terrain, while the Cane Creek rear shock (150mm travel) provides a plush yet supportive feel through rough trail sections. This setup makes the Hightower LT incredibly capable on aggressive trails without feeling sluggish on climbs.

The drivetrain is a premium SRAM X01 Eagle 12-speed, paired with a 10–50 cassette and 32T chainring, offering smooth, precise shifting and a wide gear range for both steep climbs and fast descents. Braking is handled by SRAM Code Ultimate brakes, delivering top-tier stopping power and modulation—perfect for high-speed, technical riding.

Rolling on Santa Cruz carbon wheels with DT Swiss 350 hubs, set up tubeless, the bike is paired with Specialized Butcher 2.6 front and Eliminator 2.3 rear tires for excellent grip and confidence across varied terrain. The cockpit features ENVE carbon handlebars, a 40mm stem, and a dropper seatpost, creating a clean, high-end setup designed for aggressive trail riding.

This Size XL fits riders approximately 5’11” to 6’4”. With around 2000 miles, the bike is pre-owned and mechanically in great shape, showing cosmetic marks from regular MTB use (as shown in photos). Importantly, it comes with tons of expensive upgrades that significantly elevate its performance and value.

Why we love it

We love the Hightower LT C because it’s one of those bikes that inspires confidence everywhere. It climbs better than you’d expect for a 150mm bike, descends with authority, and feels incredibly solid thanks to the carbon frame and wheels. The SRAM X01 drivetrain and Code Ultimate brakes are race-level components, and the ENVE cockpit is the cherry on top—this is a serious trail bike that’s been thoughtfully upgraded and ready to rip.
