The Canyon Spectral CF 8 is a 150/160mm-travel carbon trail bike built for aggressive all-mountain riding, pairing a coil-sprung rear end with a wireless electronic drivetrain in a slack, modern 29er package.

Canyon is the German direct-to-consumer brand that built its reputation on delivering race-proven engineering at prices traditional dealer brands can't match, with bikes campaigned at the highest levels of World Cup downhill and enduro.

This Spectral's carbon frame runs a RockShox coil shock with piggyback reservoir for 150mm of supple, fade-free rear travel, matched to a 160mm RockShox Lyrik up front. Shifting is handled by SRAM's GX Eagle AXS wireless 12-speed groupset, upgraded here with an oval 34T chainring for smoother power delivery. Magura MT Trail hydraulic disc brakes and a Zipp MOTO carbon wheelset wrapped in tubeless Schwalbe Hans Dampf and Nobby Nic rubber round out a build that departs meaningfully from stock. The Canyon G5 cockpit — 760mm bar, stem, and 170mm dropper post — is the brand's gravity-rated component line, topped with an Ergon SM10 Enduro Comp saddle.
