The 2020 Haibike XDURO Dwnhll 8.0 is a dedicated shuttle-free gravity machine designed to make the climbs as exhilarating as the descents. Haibike, a German pioneer in the e-MTB world, engineered this platform to handle the "Extreme Riding" classification (ASTM Category 5). Built around a robust 6061 Aluminum frame with their signature Gravity Casting motor interface, the Dwnhll 8.0 is a stable tank that thrives on high-speed technical terrain.

This Large build features a heavy-hitting 200 mm of travel at both ends, delivered by the RockShox BoXXer Select fork and Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock. Power is provided by the reliable Yamaha PW-X system, offering five levels of assist and up to 80Nm of torque to haul this downhill rig back to the summit. Braking duties are expertly handled by Magura MT5 4-piston calipers, providing the massive leverage needed for an e-bike of this mass.

While this unit has been well-loved with 3,316 miles and shows cosmetic "battle scars" on the controls and frame, it remains a mechanically formidable machine. It has been upgraded with Bontrager SE4 Team Issue tires for improved cornering bite.
