The 2023 Specialized Aethos Expert is designed for the rider who values the soul of cycling: ride quality, lightweight agility, and timeless style. While the rest of the world focused on wind tunnels and aero-integrated cockpits, Specialized engineered the Aethos to be the ultimate expression of a classic road bike, perfected with modern materials. Utilizing their high-modulus FACT 10r carbon, the frame delivers a staggering strength-to-weight ratio, resulting in a complete bike weight of just over 17 lbs. This results in a ride that feels alive under power and telepathic in technical corners.

This 56 cm build is equipped with the flawlessly efficient SRAM Rival eTap AXS wireless groupset. The 12-speed drivetrain, featuring a wide 10-36t range, provides the versatility needed to spin up the steepest mountain grades or hammer on the flats.

The cockpit is optimized for comfort and control with a 420 mm handlebar and a vibration-damping Roval Alpinist carbon seatpost.
