The 2025 Trek Madone SL5 Gen 8 brings true aero race-bike DNA into a more accessible and versatile package. Built around Trek’s latest-generation carbon frame, this Madone delivers excellent stiffness-to-weight balance, clean aerodynamics, and a smooth ride quality that works just as well for fast group rides as it does for long solo efforts. At around 19 lb, it’s light, quick to accelerate, and feels sharp the moment you put power down.
The bike is equipped with a full Shimano 105 2x12 drivetrain, offering precise, reliable shifting and a wide gear range thanks to the 50/34 chainrings and 11–34 cassette. This makes it equally capable on rolling terrain, sustained climbs, and high-speed flats. Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent braking performance and confidence in all weather conditions.
Rolling on Bontrager wheels that are tubeless ready, the bike is fitted with a mixed tire setup: a Continental GP5000 28C up front for maximum grip and speed, and a Bontrager R3 28C in the rear for durability and efficiency. The cockpit is clean and comfortable with Bontrager 420mm handlebars, a 90mm stem, and a carbon seatpost, keeping weight low while maintaining comfort. With under 100 miles, this bike is nearly new and in excellent mechanical condition, fully tuned and ready to ride. Size 54cm (Medium) fits riders approximately 5’7” to 5’10”.

Bought a Scott Genius 900 Ultimate from them. Throughout the entire process they were quick to respond to all questions. Gave me a very good price. The bike arrived pristine except for a relatively minor problem with the suspension lockout. They quickly responded and searched for a solution and refunded me money to compensate for fixing it.
